I have two old 78's of the Arthur Godfrey v ersion, but the best version by far is by Rex Allen, Sr. I have that on on a casette.

wow thanks for posting these videos they are hard to find ,slims first wife juanita english was my grandmas sister he was my great uncle at one time ,i remeber going to visit him in florence sc he a corvette and patty was there ,slim was also on beverly hillbillys , petty coat junction i think he is in the sc music hall of fame he was a real character i have a picture of him with juanita and my grandmas sisters along time ago wow this is so awesome to see

Hilarious! I heard on radio a woman singing this song. Do you know who she is? I've not been able to find her version. I was cracking up at work when I heard it on the radio. I'd love to do a video around that version. Slap 'er!
