  • Can you explain how to play everything from skies are blue and the rest of it?

  • @nickweld I thought I did... Dang!

  • What part of maine, would love to pay you for lessons

  • @nickweld I live in Union. I suspect that'd be quite a drive..

  • You are so cool,This was my late Mum and Dads song when they met before the war,it remained their song throughout there life together.I always wanted to play it in memory of them, but I am a beginner on the banjo, learning bluegrass etc. by myself and your lessons are such a great help.Thankyou. Once I get this down right I will try Ol Joe Clark.Take care.Trish

  • @CptJaneway50 It's actually a very cool song, and quite do-able on the banjo. Glad you're liking it.

  • I just started playing banjo and have been looking for something plain and simple like this!! Thank you so much!!! But I'd like a more detailed tutorial of the end...if you ever happen to be bored ;)

  • What part of maine are you from? I live in sanford and would love to pay you for lessons

  • @rpeek I play ukulele primarily (also guitar and charango) and of course I own a banjo ukulele (actually an old 1920 no name I bought locally and restored/refinished). I have become fascinated with clawhammer banjo but still want to play ukulele (size/sound/strings). I found your videos a couple of days ago and I really like them. You teach really well and in a way that makes you feel good about playing music...I think that is great and it is all that matters at the end of the day!.Thanks.

  • My favorite Yip Harburg song is Brother Can You Spare A Dime. Saw it used as the collection song in church once.
