The scene where that V2 simply falls over and explodes, I heard many V2s never took off because of sabotage by the slave labor who in some cases pissed on the electronics, someone's urine must have been working that day!

Yes, but teaching about Nazi crimes on a kiddie show doesn't really help. You can learn about them later when we're more mature. I didn't like to hate things when I was at grade school. I felt very uncomfortable when I learned about what happened to the American Indians at Wounded Knee in 1895. It was at the height of the Vietnam War. I was very proud when we were sending Men to the Moon (still am) but I had to be little older to accept the dark side of that history, both in Germany and USA.

They were careful not to mention about Nazi crimes in this film. Who needs to teach hate when you're teaching science. Learning about hate can come later when you're more older and mature. I'm glad no one taught me to hate when I was at school.

If you'd like to make a film about Nazi war crimes, go right ahead. Just don't put any science or rocket content in it.

This came out in 1955, and the Sputnik didn't even take off until 1957! So yeah, this is just a few years before the satellite went up! Amazing!
