I saw your vid a few years ago after picking up a nice little H16 with my best friend so he and I could sail it together just like we did for a week straight while on vacation in Mexico. Because of kids and other family commitments we just never got it wet. It ended up sitting in his driveway for 4 years. My best friend just passed away and I dragged the Cat home and started cleaning it up again today. I can tell you it won't sit dry anymore... Thanks for the vid. Again.

someone said something about the tramp being upside down - indeed! The top was so nasty and stained, I liked the look of it upside down, a little slicker, but worked fine - the hiking straps were rotted off anyway. I ended up getting ablack mesh tramp for the top, it's in another one of my sailing vids :)

Great stuff man!! I won't ever complain about having a 20 min drive to the beach to sail my H16! 450 miles... Man that is dedication! Just great! A true inspiriation!

thanks! yeah, I love the mountains, and lakes here aren't too bad, one or two just superb, well, fun camp/sailing, and fun, but I think I could be talked into a beach livin arrangement pretty easy, esp. if near a sound AND the open ocean. Speed......and air! :) sail on!

I wish the best for your son of a son of a sailor! I live near the coast of NC; New Bern to be exact. I just had a family friend give me a Prindle 18 for free. I can't wait to get it in sailing condition!

Great video mate. Nothing annoys me more than when rich people buy beautiful boats then smash them around because they can always just get another one or get them repaired, having said that, nothing make me more happy than restoring and maintaining old sailboats. you did an amazing job!

Excellent video, and great work on the boat!!! Im just about ready to do the same to my H16 and H14.... i may sell the 14 and get another 16 to sail during the downtime.... Thanks again for sharing!!!! if your ever in new england, and would like some freshwater action, lemme know!!!!!!
