As you say, you can learn painting well on SD kits, the Strike imho is one of the best for that as the end result can be extremely good as it is a very good SD to start with. Not to complex yet still looking good.

Did You Create The Super Strike Gundam to Combine Customize The 3 Striker Pack The Aile Backpack Rear Color Red, Sword Right Hand to Left Shoulder Color Blue and Launcher Left Arm to Right Shoulder Color Green Parts. Not The 2 Unit Backpack The Sword and Launcher Striker Backpack Parts What About The Skygrasper Did Combine All Parts Again

advice for new er painter that does not meen tho that it is the only way to get better thers so much you can do with just spray paint for example look at vegeta 8259's older stuff its absoultly stunning and great very good stuff and to my knoledge he used mostly spray cans corest me any one if im wrong but i know my self that spray cans are also great i think tho that my ad vice is get a airbrush get a white piece of large paper and just scribble the hole thing up with colors till you feel good

i absoultly agree witht he painting part at first when i started like way back when i usto build model cars i would use spray paint and then i moved to hand painting i did that for a wil then i moved up to use really crappy airbrushes then after i got my first real airbrush and was i happy with my painting results no but i realised that i can get so much better if i dont look at all the bad paint errors and just look at what made thows errors happen and i would try to corectit so experince good

nice painting on the skygrasper

A really great value kit for the money you pay for it! Though I think the amount of detailed painting you have to do for this whole kit is about the same amount for an average SD Gundam Sangokuden kit. :P

Wow, you did a great job on the the paint job (in general). There's minimal brush strokes, which I always seem to expect from handpainted kits. How much did you thin the paint before painting?
MsAwesomecakes 9 months ago
@MsAwesomecakes very little, tamyia paints rarely need thining, however that being said I did wish I had thined the white on the sheild a little more as it was pretty think and kinda screwed up the look a little

@jabman025 Oh, that's great! I might try using those instead of their spray paints then. It might've helped to mask it as well. It's better than the solid red shield at least! I THINK, if this ever came to bother you a lot, it's possible to sand it back down to the plastic and try again?
MsAwesomecakes 9 months ago
@MsAwesomecakes you could, but you risk sanding to much and screwing up the plastic. This is paticualry true in smaller kits.
