No, its not dangerous as long as you have learned the proper technique and have the requisite strength and balance. The weight is supported on the chin and head; you need to have a good strong head to seat to take the strain. Its not difficult once you know how;) I dont doubt there have been injuries, but a good trainer wouldnt let you even attempt it until they thought you were ready, so accidents are down to poor training techniques.

A question: In the Marinelli bend, is the body weight supported by the teeth, the roof of the mouth, or some other part of the mouth?

Also, is it a dangerous position? Have there been injuries related to Marinelli bend?
