The video runs 13:34 (min:sec), and it first aired on CBS 60 Minutes in April 2007. "Stop Snitching" is a phrase used by Hip-Hop artists to encourage people not to cooperate with the police in cases of rape, robbery, murder or any other crime. The video features two artists, Busta Rymes and Cam'ron (or Killa Cam). In the case of Busta Rymes, his bodyguard (Israel Ramirez) was gunned down outside Rymes' studio in Los Angeles. As many as 25 people witnessed the murder, but no one has come forward to give evidence to the police. Hip-Hop artists have an image to uphold, and if they are viewed as "snitches," then they will be run out of the business. Jeffrey Canada, a community activist for children in Harlem (New York City), is interviewed and expresses outrage at the "stop snitching" culture that permeates many black inner-city neighborhoods.
