In one of the greatest college football games ever played and an easy ESPN Instant Classic, the Northwestern Wildcats defeat the Michigan Wolverines 54-51 at Ryan Field in Evanston, IL. The two teams combined for 1,189 yards and 105 points in regulation.
Zak Kustok threw for 322 yards and picked up an additional 55 on the ground with 2 touchdowns through the air and 2 touchdowns on the ground. Damien Anderson rushed for 268 yards with 2 touchdowns.

@magicj125 It's up there as one of the greatest. Only Boise State/Oklahoma in '07 and Texas-USC '06 rank higher on my list. This had all the drama, wish the offensive shootout throughout the game, to the 4th and Goal dropped touchdown pass, and the fumble at the end. This game was absolutely crazy.
Also, listen to that fucking crowd when the fumble happens. Amazing.

Greatest game I ever saw in person, but not the biggest Northwestern win. That distinction goes to the 1995 win vs. Penn State. My dad in person saw the biggest all-time win in NU history - the 1949 Rose Bowl vs. Cal.
