I understand that for those who do not follow the british royal family my comments and thoughts might sound .... Well retarded LOL!!
But I found the comments that the Queen made IN PUBLIC to Kate where really out of character for the queen. She is never that honest in public she is always very polite. Thats why I think there may be more to the comment than just a simple case of expressing her opinion.
I've never believed that the queen has ever liked kate middleton and I feel that little exchanged proves my theory. But I could just be talking out my A**. :D

  • There was a significantly longer portion of this posted on the internet initially. Many of Her Majesty's comments are out of context regarding this matter and anyone who watched the initial clip knows that. The Queen was not saying the exhibit was horrid. The Duchess of Cambridge said it was weird to see the dress without her face (she had just reviewed wedding pictures) to which the Queen responded " yes, being faceless is a little macabre", "just hanging in mid air", "it is horrid".

  • @Kailaa3 Really... Could you send me a link. Before I made this video I did look around the web to see if I could find the RAW or extended footage of this meeting but I couldnt find anything.

  • Lack of work ethic? You forget that these past years have been difficult economically and it is very hard to get a job. I have a degree like the Duchess and I have struggled to find work, does that make me work shy? I think not.

Furthermore, I'd hardly call the Daily Mail or any other tabloid for that matter a "reputable source", all they do is shit stir and half the stuff they write is made up anyway.

  • @XxCrazygal2007xX I was unemployed for 8 months during 2006. But the difference between me and Kate is that I was activately looking for a job. While Kate spent all her free time, clubbing, shopping, attending high class events and going on hoilday with Prince William. She had not interest in finding a job because her parents seemed more than happy to fund her life. Of course you cant trust a tabloid to be right %100 but in this case I'll give the benefit of the doubt.

  • @dwarflover63 You do know that the queen was only informed about the engagement 2 hours before it was made public. William made sure that the press where already gathered at St James Palace when he called the Queen to tell her the "Good news". What could the queen do? and why do people have to drag diana into every conversation about Kate? Cant we judge Kate without compearing her to Diana it's getting so annoying.

  • Get over yourself lady and get a life, you are reading too much into this all together!

  • I missed out the King forced to quit was her uncle

  • 50hellkat2 Queen Elizabeth II doesn't nor ever had a brother. If she had he would have been King. The King forced to abdicate (11 December 1936 11 months after becoming King and when the then Princess Elizabeth was 10)

  • @sarabower1 You do. ;)

  • @Tanzanite800 like I give a shit

  • @sarabower1 I am going to have great disrespect for you...!

  • @Tanzanite800 what are you going to do about it

  • @dwarflover63 Bitch, I know you didn't just insult my Diana! She's the most respected royal to this day.

  • @PrincessDianaFriend XOXO firstly ER II knew of the pending engagement before Kate Middleton; as is Her right. While She has been known to be decisive as in the termination in Paris, She would not dream of interfering with William unless his choice was posed a threat to the status quo, in Her eyes. William learned that abiding by Her Majesty's will is how the 'Kingdom' works - and it may soon be His, as Charles if crowned would be beheaded in due course. Best if that eventuality be forestalled.
