@Tomosan2888 You are right about the difficulty to approach. Been there few times from different airports and you usually you opposite way for landing and bank hard right whilst steeply descending to approach the runway. This is the most difficult part but this pilots don't seem to mind doing is twice a day or more if necessary.

@exceptional1414 Actually the approach into Phaplu is one of the most difficult around. Very tight, very steep descending left circle to land. You have to clear a high ridge on the crosswind leg, easy to come in too high and fast and the steeply sloped runway doesn't help matters. In spite of this it is safer than Lukla and Syangboche as it is possible to go-around and the runway is longer.

@tekdahal Phaplu is not considered too dangerous as there are other airports in nepal where it's hell to land. Phaplu is kinda easy and safe landing airports in Nepal (provide good weather conditions which is seasonal and unpredictable)

@ForeverYoung2045 Yes it is really beautiful. Phaplu is in solukhumbu district and Baglung is different district.
