Watching it again, I think the bunkai would be better served by analysing the cadence of the sequences and redoing them. It appears the aestheticism of the kata has supplanted the bunkai. I'll go and watch some other karateka doing this kata and see if their cadences change in line with what I'm understanding what function this kata serves.

I've never seen this kata before. Is there any real bunkai to it? I noticed the parallel hand positions in the beginning, but couldn't work out what use they would have. I noticed the bunkai later appeared to be something breaking away from a nelson hold. No disrepect intented. I just want to understand the bunkai if it's not lost in the span of time. Please understand I appreciate you might like kata for it's artistry! I see no wrong in that.
