@richandnik When I said the guy in the vid isn't hammering it I meant he didn't have his foot to the floor, he was on and off the accelerator and changing up and down. As for your 106 comment, are you saying that because of a short throw box the 106 GTI will "wipe the floor" with the 206 GTI 180? Even though the 180 has more bhp per tonne, is quicker to 60, has a higher top speed, has better suspension and brakes, more modern engine and closer gearing, you still believe the 106 is faster?

@richandnik Yes Peugeot do make a 308 GTI with 200 bhp but as it weights 300kgs MORE than the 206 GTI 180 the 308 takes 7.7 to get to 60 where as the 206 only takes 7.2 (I think you need glasses as I did say QUICKEST in my previous post)
Why do sad people like you search for cars you hate to talk bad about them? Is it because you feel threatened by them and to make yourself feel better about your own you car you go on youtube and talk BS
P.S You can’t even buy the 308 GTI in the UK anyway

Hang on a min...a drapstrip is about 1/4 mile...a standard civic does 1/4 in about 14 secs @ 101mph..how the fk could you both be doing over 130?...

You need glasses. cos 7000rpm is what Id consider thrashing it? Anymore and its bouncing off the limiter...!
It doesnt handle better than a type r, in fact the pug is terrible, very noisy over sharp bumps....and bhp per ton, its still not a fast car, the gearbox lets it down....thats why a 106 gti would wipe the floor because of its short throw box....

looks slow in this vid i dont know why but having owned a saxo vts which is the same as 106gti and now one of these i can say that it feels alot faster than the vts ever did have you ever raced an astra cdti 150 in your 106 gti because in straight line you will lose and that only has 150 bhp
