i brought some from an indian store and it says to leave it in for about an hour and shampoo it out. can i keep it in my hair?

@iroc31407 sure can-- it depends on how much you've put in, and for what purpose.
if you're treating a condition, you may want to follow the directions. if you are scenting locs, jasmine oil mixed with a carrier oil should be just fine in your hair. just be careful not to put too much in your hair (that can attract lint, or cause buildup over time). oily hair on facial skin can also lead to acne breakouts (if you are already prone to them). have fun with your jasmine-- great stuff! ;-)

do you know how to make a jasmine oil?

a few drops of jasmine oil in a base oil (like grapeseed, olive, or jojoba oil, for instance), shake well, and apply. it's that easy. ;-)
