@trinendetr1 Except electric guitars require actual skill to play. This doesn't. Playing a trumpet without proper embouchre...it's horrible.

Wow whats next bach electronic trumpets?!!?Wheres the work ethic in this???Anyone can play it but it takes a real musician to master a real trumpet.Just saying kids today need real insturments not a eice of tube hooked up to an amp.

It not trying to replace trumpet. This is the trumpets equivalent to electric guitar. Do that make it stupid? No. Unique? Yes.

I think that it is true that this will never be a trumpet, but it isn't it's a digital trumpet, and it has a unique sound. I can be used for different purposes than an acoustic trumpet (like what an EWI would be used for). I think it is pretty interesting, but I wouldn't use it to mimic the sound of an acoustic trumpet, I'd use it if you wanted a modified sound.
