Just Dodge the pink orbs when they fly at you. When he summons the Monsters, Jump up to the platform and smack him until the orbs turn purple and dont try to get hit.Do this until he truns into the skeleton-thing.Only thing you have to do differntly is attack the monsters in groups and try and avoid the ball.I wouldnt recomend hitting the ball though.

The boss music for this battle reminds me of Castlevania64 when you fight the Giant Skeleton.
-
ive been trying to kill this asshole for 3 days

Necromancer just keep throwing at you those damn Polo mints, what the hell is he? Dracula's dentist?
-
there's something with the boss music that makes me nervous

I hope that I am not the only one that thought that this was the best Metroidvania for reasons other than nostalgia? Great challenge, bosses, replayability, and level design. This game is easily one of my favorite CVs under Rondo of Blood.

Combine an action card with an attribute card. Use the special move button to activate (L or R).

how can i use the cards i can not understand...

@DoctorWhoFan70 This guy's a pussy compared to Shaft.
All right, I know I'll be looked at as stupid for this....But I just bought this game(i've beaten 3 castlevania games before), but I purchased a used one...Without a manual. Can someone please tell me how to throw the little knives and crosses and things? And what's with the card system? I'm used to Order of Ecclesia....

Up + Attack Button to use subweapons, it's like this in many other CV games as well (same way you use a Glyph Union in OoE).
The cards are pretty simple, you just select an Action and an Attribute card for different effects. Then you use R to activate them, like an R-glyph in OoE.
Check out Gamefaqs, things like the controls, what the card combos are, etc are pretty standard for the faqs.

If you liked Harmony of Dissonance/Aria of Sorrow, it'd be worth trying out.
