  • Thanks So much, I cant wait to get this over with!!

  • don't be nervous girl! you will pull through..you are so lucky with 3 incisions..i have 4 incisions which is cool but my bruises are still really dark purple..they look yucky..try to bring a camera..i didn't because i was at the surgery alone..i cant wait to see you on the other side!!

  • Thanks so much...I really needed to hear that. I will bring my camera, and will try to take some photos, and do a quick video before and after surgery...if i can. Im looking forward to joining you on hte other side. How are you feeling today?

  • Great Vid! Quick thing about the chicken broth... I heard that "broth" alone is kind of gross, because it's really for seasoning purposes. They suggested to get chicken noodle soup and put it through a strainer and drink that instead. GOOD LUCK...I'm hot on your tail...6/8

  • Thanks for the info on the broth. Im doing some more shopping tomorrow, and i'll be sure to get soime chicken noodle soups. I cant believe how fast June is coming. I will be following your progress as well. June 8th is just a blink away!!

  • I think I slept most of the time. I did have some water, SF popsicles and SF Jello. I enjoyed the popsicles. They were very soothing to my throat. My surgery was scheduled for 11:15a, but they took me early. I think is was sometime around 10:30a. I was back at home by 2pm. Alright...best wishes to you and I will be praying for you. For HE is your strong tower.

  • Not too much pain, just where the incisions are. They are sore. I think it hurts the most, when I am getting in and out of the bed or chair. I did have the gas problem in my left shoulder, but it was not too unbearable. I'm trying to up my liquid intake today. I didn't feel like drinking or eating much yesterday.

  • Good luck with your surgery. I'm glad you are comfortable with your new surgeon. Guess what! I had my surgery yesterday the 29th and I am proud to say that I'm doing well. When I woke up in recovery yesterday I was pleasantly surprised at how I felt. Today is evening better.

  • Thanks for the encouragement. I keep telling myself that it will be over in a jiffy, but the jitters in my stomach wont go away. And yes i am so thankful for the single incision!!

  • Thanks, and yes it is a blessing to be comfortable with your surgeon. It relieved some of my nervousness. Thanks for following my journey!
