Testament - 8. Agony - The Ritual

[Music: Peterson]
[Lyrics: Billy, James]

Trapped in a nightmare
Prisoners of warfare
Days gone become years
Of suffering ...
Fight on but what's to gain ?
Misfortune leads to pain ...
Fearless they won't die
Caged in they ask why
Cry out but don't cry
In agony ...
Live on but what's to gain
Die slowly everyday
Misfortune leads to pain
Will they ever be saved
From agony, Agony, Agony
In silent suffering
It's never ending
They pray to end their
Misery ...
Fight on but what's to gain
Die slowly everyday
Misfortune leads to pain
Will they ever be saved
From agony, Agony, Agony
Agony
Missing in action
Never forgotten
America the mighty
Set them free ...
Fight on but what's to gain
Die slowly everyday
Misfortune leads to pain
Will they ever be saved
From agony, Agony, Agony
Agony

  • @Shiljamannn psh, everyone who makes those comments thinks metallica and megadeth are the only existing metal bands. you are safe here :P

  • So much power in this song... The lyrics are powerful and so is Chuck's voice. And the solo is awesome. :D Testament never ceases to amaze me, no matter how many times I listen to their songs

  • 2:30 listen here junkies!

  • Where are the Metallica comments??? :)

  • wow all these years and this song somehow sliped buy me god like patriotizm

  • The production on this album is what ruined it, the songs are mostly all decent though.

  • A vary under rated album

  • Its the skull sigil thing from the cover of The Legacy album and every band member has the tatt. not sure if its directly linked to Baphomet though, but its very similar.
