Now does this only work if you're using Wamp or Xampp as well, because I have Xampp and it keeps happening.

hi i know you posted this a long time ago but wondered if you could maby help me cause i am about at the end too!!!! all the pages work eg. activity, members and so on but when i let any1 sign up to my buddy press they click sign up and get the same 404 error please help. thanx for your time lewis.

Ok, I can not find Apache? I go to the FIle Manager and I find nothing on the public_html folder. I am new to this but have been searching for the fix to this exact problem. Any help is appreciated. Also my hosting co, uses simplescripts to install buddypress, so I had no MySQL or anything and have no knowledge of wordpress, buddypress or such. Thanks for any adovce
