I should have clarified, sorry. I feel as though the scene between CB and Beethoven should be played more realisticaly, rather than simply for laughs! I think for instance, Beethoven's hit to CB was just played for laughs, which breaks a great deal of the reality and drama in the scene.

I going to be playing Beethoven in this play in March. Im trying to play his scenes more realistically. Less for laughs.

@4dalols when i directed this I spoke to Bert V. Royal he said the beginning is meant to be funny... I also saw the original cast years ago and the audience was dying of laugher !!!!
