@bryanttie Do Thomas cook use boeing 757's to go Tenerife do they??? because im going there in july and i have been trying to find out for ages, I love boeing 757's :)

the pilot held the plane above ground because what happens is called ground effect... its what keeps the plane floating for a bit because the air rolls off the wings and hits the ground, propelling the plane slightly upward, causing it to float in a way until the plane falls

I just did this yesterday, on a B752 from Thomas Cook, 4 and a half hours from Newcastle we had a nice landing too
