@AOSoloist - It's low, lower than a traditional acoustic classical. Too low for me, actually, but perfect for the kind of jazzy/smooth playing that Steve Oliver practices.

I am seriously thinking about getting the NS1. How is the fretboard action. Does it feel like you can fly on it?
Take care.

@GubaJones - Custom "Ergo" model built by Chris Forshage, a luthier in the Austin, TX USA area. I have a demo of that guitar on my channel.

Beautiful version. Love this! I was looking for some demos on the NS1 and found this. Fantastic. Since I'm not a hardcore jazzer and just love the nylon string sound layered with synth or VG-99, I'm wondering if you've had the opportunity to compare the NS1 to a Godin Multiac Synth nylon string? Keep up the fine playing! You made my evening. Many thanks!

@2GoldensTosa - Thanks for the nice compliment and glad you enjoyed it. I used to own a Godin Multiac, and the NS1 had a lower action and slicker feel to me. Also the Carvin's heel is much smoother than the Godin's which uses a bolt-on construction. Plugged in they are not THAT different from each other, but I still give the nod to the Carvin. On the other hand, the Carvin has no acoustic sound at all, whereas the Godin had a quiet but nice unplugged tone.

Hi!
Im thinking of buying this guitar.
I have a question you mabye could anwer.
Is it easier to play on the NS1 guitar, compared to a Classic nylon guitar? Is the string height lower? is it thinner strings?
Would be very happy for answers.
Keep up the nice playing.
Kind regards.

Hi there - the NS1 is easier for someone who is not used to full size classical guitars, but I sold mine because I actually prefer the full size instruments. It has lower action, a thinner neck, but normal strings. It's very much intended for players who are comfortable with electric guitars. Good luck - RP
