My senior thesis, created at Ringling College of Art and Design from 2008-2009

With every light there is a dark. Such is the life Cindi and Kier have found themselves leading. When night has fallen, is it possible for Cindi to brave the odds against her? Or will Kier prove to be the victor? What hope is left when all seems against you?

Isn't this based on the Biblical idea of spiritual light and darkness?

@KinyoobiYoru - there aren't any biblical references, no. Just a concept of light vs dark. Is there a similar concept in the bible, perhaps, but there have been cultures around the world dating well before the birth of Christianity that have had the idea of light and dark, good vs. evil, ying and yang, whichever you like to call it most.

I love the work that comes out of this college, but is it all 3D computer animation? I'm studying 2D at the Art Institute of Portland. Is there a 2D focus at your school?

No, there's no focus on 2D, but you are required to take a few classes of it if you're in the Animation major. If there's interest in doing more 2D after those classes you can always ask for an independent study though. I don't know anyone who did that for 2D, but I know people who did them for other classes.

Ah. I just noticed the church in the video. That's where I made the connection. And I know the Bible isn't the first or only religious book that talks about light and dark. I would have to be quite ignorant to think something like that....

i would have liked it better if the bad guy turned good and they danced together but honestly it was a great animation good job
