This issue is even more relevant today than it was in 1988. Jerry and the boys avoided public issues in general. It was up to us the dead heads to decide how we felt about things( music ,politics and the world). I think this issue requires us all to think and act outside of "the box".

were you at the same show, coyote?....The Grateful Dead, Mick Taylor, jack Cassady, Suzanne Vega, Bruce Hornsby, Babatunde Olatunje, Hall & Oates all singing Knockin on Heaven's Door together...it truly was a glorious evening and opened some eyes to the rainforest issue

Unfortunately Jerry took it upon himself to become a Chemical waste dump, and now the world is poorer.

Jerry looks as though he has been awake since the landover shows,and they were some of the better latter day grateful dead shows,these garden shows were pretty good as well but by the time of the benefit show they were spent and thinking of the flight home after the show,by now they chartered their own plane and once on board jerry can hit the persian and he will wake up on the runway back home in the bay area.
