What they don't tell you in the history books is that the 'indian schools" you hear about that happened in the southwest with the navajo/pueblo/hopi/etc didn't start there. They started in the carribean islands with the tainos. Then they moved into central america and mexico THEN into the southwest. The catholic church was responsible for this.

Interesting.

The term "oral tradition" refers to a wide range of information transferred onto sequential generations, yet I suspect that the "bogus" information mentioned by the speaker in the video is in reference to christian religion, and not all information in general. If that is the position of the speaker, that all information encompassed within the term "oral tradition" is bogus, then I believe that he is mistaken. Also, what should be of interest is memory, the politics of memory.

thanks to mexica movement for their work, showing me and teaching me who Iv been all along Nican Tlaca.

That is the most disrespectful comment to us of the Mexica Movement and to Guatemalan Mayans to distort what I wrote and to put it into context of that racist civil war.
You know that is not what this video was about and not what I was responding to you about.
That civil war was a white supremacist war against our people. It had nothing to do with "traditions".
This shows where you are coming from.
There will be no further responses to you.

c'mon man your going to tell mayans gave their lifes fighting over money? 36 years of civil wars and massacres? yes there is that new age crap, fake ass shamans but thats only a very small percentage. man its sad that you think that way about Guatemalans......

Boy you guys want us to do everything. And yet we get almost no support in people helping with the work or with the expenses.
I didn't know we had such a staff and pay and time to do all of what people demand of us.

And the ones who have some of the traditions that have survived are not fully aware of the full context of being a warrior nation, like all nations on this planet.
You can dance, burn insense, pray, sing in our languages, but if your are not a warrior for your people you are still a slave. We are all still slaves.
The most important heritage of our people is our freedom and our warrior societies that kept us a free people.

So far I haven't seen you guys focus on this. These White Nationalist (From Spain,Argentina,Latin America) have all these propaganda videos about kennewick man being "aryan" ,"white aztecs",and videos about "blonde/red haired" inca mummies?

Yeah I was thinking about Agnostic.
And adding to what zinakan said,I've noticed you guys haven't made a video debunking those history hijackers/revisionist :Eurocentrism and Afrocentrism.
Even the Egyptians,Moroccons, and Algerians I've talked to are fed up with them.
Europeans can not understand why so called people of color get upset about what happened to our forfathers in History. They always like to say "don't blame all Europeans" but they blame all blacks for crimes, they blame all Hispanics for taking free medicare and being illegal. Truth is no European can Identify with the Natives of Africa, The Americas, and India. All Europeans banded together under a banner of Whiteness to opress Brown and Black people. Im glad the Native Am. people are awake.

I'm not latino(I'm Iranian), but America was founded on Genocide, builded by slavery and got rich by imperialism. This country of oligarchy, bomb Middle-East killing millions and steal our oil worth of billions. Are we ever going to get that back? NO!
Mexicos poverty is caused by northen Imperialism. European Imperialists killed 95 million people when they stole Indians land. When ever Mexicans goes to America they are just moving on their own land. America doesn't belong to the thiefs.
