This song is '2HB', originally made by Roxy Music but covered by Thom Yorke for Velvet Goldmine. This is Thom Yorke. The song 'Ladytron' is also originally by Roxy music but featured in the film covered by Thom Yorke. However, this isn't it...

i think these songs mostly exist for there to be the songs sounding like a live take, but also slightly different too as if the actor is singing.. i think thom yorke is trying to be john rhys myers-who mimes this in the film- doing a bryan ferry.

Whats up? It sounds like Thom, yes lower, but it is a bit of an homage to B.Ferry/Roxy music. It may have been tape pitched lower, or digitally. Its '2HB' which stands for Humphrey Bogart.

I could not believe that this was Thom at first...I mean, I knew he could lower his voice (like in Radiohead's cover of Ceremony), but I didn't know he could sound this different. I think it was the vibrato that threw me off.

This song is over 10 years old, I'm guessing his voice changed. Or MAYBE he made his voice sound different in radiohead

this is 2hb

i can't hear thom yorke's voice

The reason his voice soudns like that he was trying duplicate the original vocals of Bryan Ferry.

What!? No searching at the start of the season?

To set the record straight, it's "2HB" done by Venus In Furs with Thom Yorke singing, from the movie "Velvet Goldmine". The original was done by Roxy Music with Bryan Ferry singling lead. They sound very similar.

I love this soundtrack. Everytime I watch the movie I bring out the homophobe in my wife. :P
This IS Thom Yorke! Why not just look it up before stating that it isn't? :/
