Jews accepted the fact that both Jews AND Arabs had historical claim to the land. They accepted partition in 1947
Israel is an affront to Arab sensibilities. To accept a nation of "dhimmis" as an equal is an insult to them. When they accept that the Jews can have a state in the homeland of their ancestors, there will be peace.
Israel would be the first state to help build a Palestinian country because it is in their interest to have a thriving Palestine next door to a secure Israel
@thefalstini In 1896 an inscription was discovered in Egypt which is one of the oldest known references to the land of “Israel”
Dated to approx 1210 B.C. during the Biblical period of the Judges. It records victories achieved by the Egyptian pharaoh Merneptah over the peoples in neighboring lands. It reads: The princes are prostrate saying:“Shalom!” (Peace). Not one of the nine bows lifts his head; Canaan is captive, Yanoam nonexistent; the foreign people of Israel are laid waste, bare of seed”
Thomas Levy is excavating a large copper-smelting operation at Khirbat en Nahas (30 miles south of the Dead Sea in Jordan) dating to the 9th-10th centuries BCE, which implies a complex, centralized society existed in Solomon's time. The disruption layer corresponds to the invasion by pharaoh Shoshenq I after Solomon's death, chronicled in the Bible and at the Temple of Amun at Karnak.
In 2005 Eilat Mazar uncovered a gatehouse into the royal quarter of the ancient city of Jerusalem & an adjacent royal structure, dated to the time of Solomon. The strength & the form of construction correlates with biblical passages that speak of Solomon's building of a royal palace & Temple with the help of master builders from Phoenicia. Found were seal impressions with Hebrew names and with the words "to the king" of an Israelite state
No one is saying that here were no people living in Palestine. The myth is that there was a stable population who identified themselves as "Palestinians". There was no such people; no such nation. People moved from region to region depending on the enonomic opportunities available at the time. It was only in the 1960s that people like Arafat (an Egyptian) invented a nation called "the Palestinians"
@finderr5 and from what I have read, there is no actual physical proof of an "israel" except in the Bible, and I believe the bible but that's been tampered with and it clearly states that the philistines and the canniantes were there before the Jews.
@finderr5 I don't hate jews, I hate zionists. When the Jews ran away from the pharoa of Egypt with moses, they went to the people of philisten, Palestine is pronounced as filistine in arabic. They are also the people of Cannan. Who were also there before the Jews. Pre 1947 Palestine was under many empires, because it was wanted by all, also pre 1948 the jewish population never rose over 5%

@thefalstini Abraham,Isaac & Jacob lived in the Holy Land 400 yrs BEFORE the exodus from Egypt
No one is saying there were no Canaanites
The Philistines disappeared as a distinct group by the 5th century BCE
In 1947 there were 1,200,000 Arabs & 650,000 Jews in Palestine, NOT including the 100,000 Jews of Jerusalem. Do the math - that's more than 5%
Zionism is the movement that supports the self-determination of the Jewish people in a sovereign Jewish national homeland. No more. No less
