I wasn't finished but ran out of characters! Anyway, I just wanted to say that alone makes him different. He obviously wants to hear the voice of the people, not play the chess game of the rich. As far as his proposed college tuition program goes, I believe offering aid in return for community involvement is teaching that life isn't about hand outs...that it's about give and take. You give and you get. It strengthens the community and provides education - that's about more than votes.

In response to the above comment, I have to point out that ALL politicians will say what you want to hear in order to get your vote. That IS politics. Regardless of that, Obama is unique in that he has funded his campaign entirely by the people that believe in him rather than doing as the majority of politician's do and having an "I scratch your back if you scratch mine" agenda. He has not accepted what amount to political bribes from big business so they in turn can buy his support.

Obama's proposed Tuition Credit is to bribe college students to vote for him. Obama has made numerous proposed tax cuts. You have to remember these are propsed cuts. He is a politician and will say what you want to hear in order to get your vote. If elected Obama will raise taxes in order to support his social programs. Even Reverend Wright recently said on TV that Obama is a Politician and will say what all politicians say to get elected.
