This is another set of Payne Traction Elevators, next to the Bank B ones, at Emerson Hospital, Concord, Massachusetts.
This is the closest I've ever seen a Payne look like a Westinghouse. So close, I thought it WAS Westinghouse! (They do great-looking Haughton knock-offs as well!)
What's there to say about this DEATH TRAP? I can see why the other one doesn't work. These make a lot of noise (you KNOW it's Payne), and all the guiderail sections are misalligned (CLACK! CLACK!....CLACK! CLACK!...). "Shock Cam" couldn't pick most of the violent jolts that occurr while hitting the misallignments, as well as how loud the "clanckety" ride was.
Another footnote, the 2 button doesn't stay lit when pressed. It looks like the floor is locked off, but it isn't.
Also note the HUGE fail, where I accidentally shut the door on someone. I felt bad. THUMBS DOWN for shutting the door on someone! :(
DEATH TRAP RATING: 2/10:
* Misalligned guide rail segments
* Voilent jolt crossing said segments
* Signature "Quality" Payne shaft noise

Not yet. Thought I did when a door trick went wrong.

Have you ever been stuck on an elevator? I've been twice pretty scary

So that jerky slipping stop is what SchindlerHaughton was referring to as "Banjo", huh? Makes sense.
In the Burbank Gauntlet, you could actually see the cables vibrate on one elevator trying to stop.

@scheitinjebroek
I see they fixed the counter. Video pages were 4 ahead of the actual count.

Payne is so similar to Dover it's not even funny: "banjo"-like traction elevators, mouth-dropping hydraulics.
