  • i have to make somthing like this at college

  • What College... I made this with a couple of my class mates in College (South Dakota School of Mines and Technology)... Let me know if you need some pointers!!! Good Luck!!!

  • How does it know where it hase to go?

    Does it count the crossings?

  • There are 3 sensors on the bottom of front of the robot. These 3 sensors serve 2 purposes: 1. It keeps the robot on the black lines by sensing when one of the outside sensors hits black. 2. When all 3 sensors see black then a count is incremented, so that the robot knows how many junctions it has gone across.

  • With this Robot, we utilized a PEL4 programming board as well as an H-Bridge to drive the motors. We also found that the motors in the original toy were not adequate enough to move as fast as we wanted so modification of the chassis was done to incorporate new motors and gears. We Utilized a pic c compiler for the code. We also used three sensors (which can be seen in the video). These are fairchild QRK1313 Reflective Object Sensors

  • I realy like the tracks. Where did you get them, or did you make them? Verry nice robot, first line follower I've seen with tracks, cool.

  • We utilized an old chassis from a wired remote control toy. The Tracks gave us greater control to follow the track that was required to follow.

  • great control

  • very nice work! I dont know how it followed specific lines, were the lines of tape wider where you wanted the robot to follow? The tracks(wheels) were awesome by the way!

  • great work Man!! keep it up
