I heard this song in the car b4 but it never really did anything,...until 2day. you see my real dad just got a facebook and he said that his fave song was this, so i came on here 2 see wat it was once i heard it,..i was so pissed off. im 14 and he is just now in my life. and he says thats his fave song when i was never thier 2 give him hugs in the morning and butterfly kisses @ nite,..but he dose hav a 2year old baby girl, i hate that, it really hurts, if their is anyone one that can help plz do

Understand your father is human and people make mistakes. At least you have your dad though, so I would hug him and tell him you love him. And forgive him. It's ok to love and forgive him.

he may have another daughter, but that will never change the fact that you're his daughter! He loves you too! Parents have room in their hearts for all of their kids! And nothing can change the way a dad feels about his daughter! He loves you! He's your dad! and he always will! You're the daughter God gave him, and he loves you.

My dad and mom divorced when i was 2, But he stayed in my life.I cant even write this without crying because he got remairied 2 years ago and now he has a new family of a wife,a 16 year old daughter,a 18 year old son and a 22 year old daughter. I am 13 and I CALL HIM to ask if i can come over,and it should be the other way around. So i know how you feel.

This is a sweet and very touching song. The wounderful man I'm married to now for the past 15 years and the only real daddy my children really knew. At my daughters wedding 5 years ago he walked her down the aisle with tears in his eyes, and after the ceremony was over this was the song they picked to dance to and they both had tears in their eyes at the end they hugged and He kissed her cheek, and of mom was over there with a waterfall of tears streaming down my face I couldn't stop crying.
