Great video and all, But I am the real Acer fan boy! I had 7 Acer laptop in the pas 5 years and they are the best out there, way better than Dell and HP wich cause me only trouble. One of my Acer even survive a 70mph car crash while it was open on the passenger seat (might explain why i crashed...). I'm waiting in october to get the new blue gemstone to replace my 5920g. Do you think that the touch controls are too close to your left hand while typing and moving the laptop??

Were you were checking your mail or balancing an Excel spreadsheet at 70mph? That takes some beating, although me drafting a press release to defend Acer from the HP patent lawsuit in the middle of a sandstorm (I had to hide behind the screen to hear what the CEO was saying) is my own personal high. Not a scratch... Can I ask for a review when you get yours?

I've owned my 8920 for two years now and i've had nothing but hardware and software issues since day 1...it's been into the shop 3 times under warranty, pretty much a total rebuild. ILL NEVER BUY AN ACER AGAIN, period.

Depends on where you live. go to Acer . com and select your country. Have a (close) look at the specs to see which model does and which one doesn't.

Plus, the Gemstone Blue is about to be replaced....

this laptop in a word: awesome. you won't get anything better in the price range and is a great all round machine. Pretty too!
