Since WC 66 which was rigged btw, England has done placed no higer than 4th place, which they achieved once. They also managed to not qualify for the tournament 3 TIMES.

Since Croatia's independence they have only failed to qualify for a major tournament once, and on their first crack at the World Cup went on to third place by playing arguably the best football in the entire tournament something Ingerland can never claim to doing in any tournament ever.
