Killswitch Engage - The End Of Heartache [Live recording from the '(Set This) World Ablaze' DVD (Bass cover/interpretation/jam)

**2nd bass cover to go over 1,000 views**
**2,000 views+ since Christmas Eve of 2010**

**Everything is of my own creation other than the backing track, which is copyright of it's original owners, and there's no infringement intended. All rights belong to the original artist, the band Killswitch Engage (Roadrunner Records) and whoever else I have to credit to keep the video from getting audioswapped**

The tuning it's played in is Drop C tuning (CGCF.)

The external bass line I'm playing was recorded through my Fostex MR-8 HD digital recorder.. The backing is there, but quieter so you can hear what I'm doing but it's not just silence and a bass line. I hate when people do that in their covers. I just played by ear what I thought I heard, with very small bits of occasional improvisation for fun. It may not be 100% correct, but it sounds pretty good overall.

Merry Christmas to all! Check out this Killswitch Engage live DVD. It's one of the greatest live DVD's I have ever seen.

  • Nice job, some parts are wrong, especially rhythm wise, but overall a good job, finally a decent cover!

  • @WEEZER08274MH You have a pretty nice tone by the way, not like most have (Mike D. too for instance): lots of fret noise and lots of treble and then playing with a pick, my soul dies a little everytime I hear someone play like that.

  • @WEEZER08274MH killswitch is awesome to play, know a lot of songs myself. This Fire is kickass, you should try that one! Really love that one. I always do their End of Heartache stuff with the live DVD as well! Bid Farewell is awesome and so is, that one is really really awesome: Prelude+Hope Is, god how I love that live version!

  • @DoomSerenadeWanderer - Thanks. It's appreciated.

  • Yeah that was awesome! metal on \w/
