February is not a month when we normally think about lawn maintenance, but a little work now will help your lawn through the final stages of winter and give it a good start when spring arrives. Green-keepers will certainly be working on the greens now because this is a time of the year when grass often looks pale and forlorn as a result of wet, cold conditions. I'm not suggesting we should all maintain our lawns to the standard of a bowling green but a little lawn care now will relieve the lawn from stress and greatly improve it for the summer.
