Just another example of the Swedish "Potemkin" Democracy -

Swedish TV channel TV4 announced on Friday that it has refused to broadcast a campaign advert by the far-right Sweden Democrats because it claims it contains racial hatred.[...]

The party wanted to pay the channel 1.5 million kronor ($201,240) to run the ad. The half-minute advert shows a race in which an elderly woman with a walker is chased by a group of burqa-clad women pushing prams with a slogan promising to safeguard pension funding at the expense of immigration.

As an alarm-like sound plays in the background, a voiceover says, "All politics are about priorities -- now you have a choice." [...]

"The film is contrary to the democracy clause in the Radio and Television Act and also against democracy clauses which the Sweden Democrats, among others, have adopted for the equality of all people, regardless of whether it is the European Convention or the UN Charter," [TV4 CEO Jan Scherman] said.

"The film is also against the constitution act on freedom of speech that prohibits hate speech," Scherman added.

Per Hultmangård, a lawyer at the Swedish Media Publishers' Association (Tidningsutvgivarna), came to a different conclusion. He does not see how the video would violate the law.

"I cannot see how this would be hate speech," he told news agency TT. "This is an election ad. The scope is wide for what one can say. They simply play on people's fears. Legally, it is within the allowable framework."

well the swedes are waking up as well. Bout time. I only wish the usa would get the same idea. Immigration ( legal) can be a good thing, but we can no be overrun with immigrants and if they love their old culture so much why are they feeling from places were it is embraced?

They are the kind of people who come into other peoples houses and tell the family how to live there.

I can see nothing but conflict with them. They are inferior culture who refuse to accept it. So the only thing they can do is spoil Europe by constantly trying to change it from within until it becomes like the kind of places they came here to escape from.

@claton95 of course there will be exceptions, like with everything else in this world. i too have muslim friends/family, completely normal people, but they are not stupid and see what their people are doing to europe/america. the muslims see what they are doing as a silent, peaceful takeover. by 2060/2070 they will be the majority in many european countries and will then enact Sharia law LEGALLY, just as hitler took power legally. Europe will one day belong to the House of Islam...

There is nothing wrong with immigration. The problem is flooding a CHRISTIAN country with Muslims... Sweden (a christian nation) should have accepted the CHRISTIAN palestinians only and not thousands of muslim palestinians for example. They would have had a sense of belonging because of the shared faith. But in Sweden if somebody voices these opinions they are "racist". Its disgusting how the muslim immigrants laugh at this aspect of our society, then proceed to beat/rape our women!

I am not swedish, I am American. But this ad sent shivers over me. I am all for immigration...it is a great thing. From Asia, Latin and south America, rurope etc. But only those who believe in the same ideals of freedom, democracy, and morality. Not those who would endorse sharia law and impose their will. There is a major difference.

@RedSkyNord Even if that “scare tactic” is an accurate portrayal of current events? What do you propose instead? An unequivocal capitulation to 7th century ideals that are foreign and hostile to that of your native land? I’m sure you would be saying the same thing if someone tried to raise awareness towards the potential dangers of Nazism in the 1930s. You would be here like the other leftist loons wasting your 1st amendment right by blaming your country and defense industries of warmongering.

I'm origionally from Portugal and live in the U.S. When i moved here i didnt want to replace anything with whatever moral convictions i had, but they (Islamists) immigrate here and want to change the laws of the land. Why? Because their numbers are growing and they are feeling ballsy enough to demand shit they dont deserve.
