Ferrari FXX Evoluzione

A close look at the Ferrari FXX, one of the most brutal cars ever built by the Scuderia Ferrari. The Ferrari FXX is a track car, based on the Ferrari Enzo, reserved for the private use of some happy few. The FXX is powered by a V12 engie pushing 800 hp at 8500 rpm. Quite incredible. The sound it makes is out of this world.

The XX programs (FXX and 599XX) were designed to be a laboratory for the Scuderia, to test new technology for their newest cars, and to push the boundaries of their knowledge and savoir-faire. This particular Ferrari, the number 31, added the Ferrari Enzo side-view mirrors, because the owner liked it better that way.

is there a difference in the Fxx and the fxx evoluzione?

@viennalucca Hmm... Good question. Aesthetically, there are a few differences, mostly in the painting of the car itself. Performance-wise too, but they're very minor I think. The Evoluzione kit is nothing spectacular, IMO. However, the 599XX EVO looks like it's going to be MUCH MUCH different :)

What a beast :) On top gear James said that u cant go anywhere with that car. Ferrari rings you up and tells you when u can come to a race track and race it , is that true?

@WilDeRSkillZ Half true. There are indeed some predefined dates where Ferrari organizes events so owners can drive their FXX / 599XX. HOWEVER, if an owner calls Ferrari and tells them to bring the car + mechanics somewhere he wants them to be, at a special time... Trust me, they'll do it.

@alexsmolik Actually the Evoluzione is 50hp more powerfull than the regular FXX, and shifts 20ms quicker ;-)

The latest version of the FXX has 860 HP btw. I don't know if the Evo got an upgrade in power though.

@alexsmolik I looked it up a bit, but what i meant was is there a price difference between the normal one and the evo, and if all of them are evo's or if ferrari only does the program with a few. Do you know when the 599 evo is coming out? cant wait :D
