That Bombastic Showoff "Guitar-hero" Dweedling ever happened at all was a disaster on the order of the Hindenberg. Jimi Hendrix died, then massive Mediocrity broke out. Very Techno, Very Flashy, this Vai/Vaughn/Van Halen school of Guitar, but utterly Soulless, and Shallow as a Dried-Up Lake. They wouldn't even listen to Stuffy and Stiff Jimmy Page, but endless squealing, quacking solos became so common, Punk had to be invented. Poor Jimi, he should've lived, things wouldn't have died.

Actually, Metallica would have discovered Grunge, then Nirvana would have had more of a Semi-Sonic sound, then Semisonic would be the Jonas Brothers' sound, basically, chuck berry's rock 'n roll would have never existed and every change after would have been something along the lines of the next one, and they would not all be playing like Van Halen.

Lol, the rock n roll back then actually incited crowds to riot and trash the venues, the "Devil's music" was wild enough as it was. If Chuck B. took up Marty's metallic sound there I imagine those crowds back then would have gone totally insane, writhing on the floor, foaming at the mouth, hemmorhaging from the ears, shrieking incoherently and ultimately self combusting...
