This guitar lesson will show you how to play Shape Of My Heart, a wonderful song written by Sting and Dominic Miller. I'll show you both how I think it was played on the record, and how Dominic seems to play it live. I really must remember to ask him to clarify next time I bump into him!

At 4:30, why do you play the fifth fret on the E string, instead of just playing open A string?

With that hammer on I just can't get the notes to sound clear with the 5th fret on the E string so I play it open A. Maybe when I am a better player I'll retry it

Insanely good tutorial, but can you please tell me your secret to your large range (handwise)??! Whenever I get to the bar chord & hammer my hand cramps up because I can't reach it without having serious hand pains. Is there any way around it, or some way to make it easier (because I feel like I'm pulling ligaments in my hand)
