Heroic HoL- Loken

Last boss in Heroic Halls of Lightning. This was my first attempt at the boss (the others had fought him before) and because I had heard that he was such a difficult boss I decided to record our attempt. Surprisingly, we downed him the first try quite easily (the healer said it was the hardest thing every, but I guess DPS has its own difficulties, and for Loken there weren't many.) Please rate, comment and Subscribe! Very short but I need more videos, so viewers, here ya go! Enjoy!

I never run back on this either. I'd just burn off the lightning nova's and just keep DPSing and survived it just fine. It's the pulsing shockwave you have to worry about since that attack IS based on distance.

So is there a certain distance we need to stay inside of? Our Healer was the first to die every single time we tried, which means we wiped. We couldn't figure out what the secret was. She'd stay back around 20 yards away, is that too much?

After a few tries it will be very simple. When Deadly Boss Mods says Loken is going to use his AoE attack, EVERYONE should run back down the stairs. Then when he is done using his attack, he will come down to you. When he uses it again you back up more down the stairs. You should be able to beat him easily before he is at the bottom. =)
Tip: If you are geared enough, the tank can usually just stand through his AoE and the other players just back up then return afterwords.
