  • AMERICAN's what more do you expect

  • Damm Shame. You are "on the boat" or "off the boat". You are one or the other. Plaster this guy and pin his head to the panel. He has no excuse.

  • So Theodore Tugboat was pushing Barrington the barge into the duck boat

    RIP those who died.

  • the boat they were on was a tour boat, maybe the couple were paying attention to something in the opposite direction(sightseeing). I find it a little odd trying to say the 2 killed hold any responsibility for something that they had zero control over. The drivers of both boats bear all responsibility for the deaths of these 2. They were tasked with being in control of their vehicle and responsible for the safety and well being of anyone onboard. I ask what was wrong with the 2 drivers?

  • @sarahboyne1 dont have to have your life jacket on unless you are under 16!!

  • @Vegasoon What if the two who stayed on the boat could not swim, think about that?

  • We were on the trip immediately before this one and were surprised that when we entered the river the captain radio'd to advise we were going in the river but there was no response to acknowledge. Also we were suprised not to have to wear life vests "just in case". Very sad.

  • @Bobofet241 ...pleading the the 5t is about trusting a jury of your peers with certain information. if you can't trust them with it, you have to look out for #1 (which is you). sadly we live in a society that burns you either way... if you plead the 5th you are looked at as a liar, but if you are very cooperative with authorities... they can twist and turn whatever you say to fit the crime and the second you want to lawyer up... you are guilty then too. a sad truth!

  • @Bobofet241 because as we know our justice system is flawed, by us. it is our fellow citizenry that will ultimately decide our fate. you know the saying "making a mountain out of a mole hill"? Well the person in question could give the smallest most insignificant amount of information to a jury... and they could possibly run with it and magnify it more than its true worth. i don't know what the deal is in this case... but in my opinion...

  • @qy05 Quite true, but why hide behind the 5th if there is nothing to hide? Why run?

Why not let the facts be reviewed fairly?
