it sucks that bands arent as good when they are sober
-
I think she is stoned on this concert
-
you're amazing for posting this!!! love her early work!

Anyone know who was in the band with her at this point?
She was with Steve Shelley and Tim Foljahn for the first three albums...
then Jim White and Mick Turner (aka Tren Brothers) for Moon PIx...
then she did her solo stint for the Covers Record
then around the time of You Are Free i lost track of who she played with (I know eddie vedder and dave grohl played on the album, but they didn't tour with her)

OMG AWESOME!!!!!!
And she looks hotter than usual! What a bonus! (though she's always been hot)

One thing I'll never forget is that I was supposed to see her play Saturday in a tiny club in 1998 and I had been a fan of hers for years and was excited about it and when I got there they said she played Friday. That's the only time in my life I have ever done that. Still can't believe that.

Thanks, I did get the whole SXSW show, but it wasn't shot under the best of conditions, as I've mentioned in the above comment. The Houston show I got about 52 minutes of a one hour show. I won't say why I stopped, but you could probably guess. I will be including more footage of the SXSW show in a couple of weeks.

wow, rockets, american flag, and i don't blame you. thank you so much. i'd never heard any version than the album version for the first two of those! of course it would be pure gold if the quality were better but beggars can't be choosers.

Thanks, I was shocked it turned out as good as it did. I couldn't get near the stage and I had to lift my camera over people heads. There were also a lot of people pushing and shoving. I really almost just blew it off, but I kept filming.
