I don't give a crap whether he was lying or not, either way he's an attention whore. No one I know with real problems would even think of saying stuff like he did, and crying to a camera. He wasn't "fighting bullying" he was complaining online for hits. I hate people who feel sorry for themselves.
I agree with some of your points, although I too used to cut and still have marks, and it's not something you show the world. I'm not ashamed, but it's not something you upload videos of.
