fuck eco tourism..fuck noisy polluting jetboat rides bungy and all that stuff.I live here 12 years now and although tourism brings money in it sure ruins my peace here down south NZ stay away and explore your own country.leave us alone

I tend to agree kurtland, (but not quite so agressively!) I look forward to air travel being to expensive so we can keep our country to ourselves. I would rather walk through the bush and hear only tuis.

wow that view off of the end of that dock looks almost fake.

well it takes a moderate walker 3 hour to get to the top... it took a lot longer for us because most of us were not so fit. The heat of the day gets to you as most of the track is exposed and the rest is NZ forrest (nice and cool)...

We stayed at the Bushline Hut...

I went on a 2 day trek all around that area (Mt.Robert, Ski Basin etc) Come back to that same Jetti at night and there are hundreds of ells
