Well, it was originally developed using the Sega Naomi board, so that probably contributes to the feeling.

I looks kinda fun. I saw it at EB Games for $4.99. Is there much content in the game? If there is I'll pick it up.

Not really much content outside of the "shoot-em-up inside a fighting game" gimmick. The game flows like the usual fighting game when you play against the computer, there's a time attack-ish mode, a vs. mode, gallery mode. The basic stuff. There is an online mode, too, but every time I tried it, no one was on, and this was way back when I bought the game near its original US release date.
Too bad there wasn't a "music test" in Options...

I don't particularly like this game. Maybe its because I suck at it for the most part. But the soundtrack is fucking AMAZING.
