  • Isn't what you call  D5 and A5, Dsus2 and Asus2 respectively?

  • @1GoodRiddance Yes - my apologies - if on the A the 1st and 2nd strings are strummed then the "A5" is Asus2, and similarly if the 1st string is included on the D the"D5" is Dsus2. I did say "I (think) that is (basically) a D5" which is my choice of phraseology that keeps me out of jail when challenged! Thanks for the correction.
