  • Is this used for an actual service? What if the worship leader felt like God was leading him to sing another song or the chorus for a second time?

Honest question- i'm not trying to criticize!

  • The worship leader would need to feel like God was leading him to sync up with the click track instead... The Holy Spirit works in planning too, I've found...

  • Do you make videos like this for every Sunday?

  • No - this is a "special occasion." We're posting it for our musicians to get a feel for how we will do it...

  • would you guys mind if I used this video (or others of your videos) in a worship service and gave credit(in the notes or bullitin or on screen or something)?

  • I love David Crowder...

  • I used to preach in a church that would not allow us to have notes so the Spirit could move... I used to ask "Couldn't the Holy Spirit move while I was playing?"

  • Hey Steve,

This is Bill Carroll, the worship guy at CCC.

We would usually give a full click track, but in this one case we just had the drummer play along with the pre-recorded CD tracks. "Dummy proof".

  • I really liked this video!

  • wait... actually...

does this song just play through the ears of the drummer for the entire set?

  • that is very amazing...

as a musician, i'm assuming that the drummer is a human metronome or has a constant click other than the beginning. how do you guys all stay together if you don't mind me asking...

    very well done guys! impressive.

  • We have done videos like this for special songs but I think it would be an awesome addition to the worship music it's just hard to find time to shoot and edit an entire video every Sunday.

Your video was well done, I appreciate you bringing video into worship, it is sometimes such a neglected art form in the Church today.
