The final part...2 days polishing to condition and nourish the wood.
Worth every penny ( £20 ) and the time taken to make my ageing HW100 look almost brand new...
I hope this has shown that an utter novice like myself can, with a bit of care, restore a stock and that it inspires others to have a go..

    Thanks... G96 gun blue creme (on flea bay). Its not as good as proper hot blueing but as you can see, it works well!!!!
