Just The Ten of Us Ep. 16 pt2

After recording a song, Cindy, Wendy, Connie, and Marie begin to dream of becoming a rich and famous singing group. They perform as the Lubbock Babes at Amateur Night at Danny's Pizzeria. In spite of miscues and lack of polish, Danny likes them so much that he hires them to perform every Saturday and Sunday night. To avoid telling their parents, they sneak out and "borrow" the family car. When Coach Lubbock and Elizabeth catch up with them, they're amazed at how much talent the girls possess.

The song: Born to be wild was Catus Jack's enterance song. Secondly it's were the term: Heavy Metal comes from.

Yep, you can tell that was really them singing.

That announcer guy was on 'Growing Pains' for a couple episodes too..he played the dad of Ben's girlfriend - who was played by the girl who played Kimmy Gibbler on 'Full House'!

Funny that the girl who played Sherrie was on another tv show where she and the other girls in the cast sang like a sitcom/musical.

Too bad Jamie or Heather didn't put out albums. They really had good voices. Jamie sounds like she might have had some voice training...
