  • @Maestoso28 and in fact Schumann was one of Tchaikovsky's favourite composers, so there was definitely an artistic kinship between the two.

  • Did you know that this is Schumann's only piano concerto, and that he was a newlywed when he composed it, so his wife was the pianist (Clara Wieck) that played it first?

  • If I am not mistaken, Amir Katz was also the person who played Schubert Sonata in A minor, for Nodame Cantabile (for those who know the show) Great Pianist he is.
