    So I saw this line of comments talking about what this song is about. One said a mosh pit, the other said where Metallica was originally playing at clubs. Did anyone ever consider the song may be about assault and violence? Battery is the legal charge for assault. The entire songs lyrics point to violence and aggression, combined with this definition, makes perfect and clear sense.

    Nope, you didn't. Granted he isn't as good as Portnoy or Mangini, but a lot of the drummers I have worked with have said Lars sucks, I think he and Cliff were the shining members. Kirk was my favorite player but he needs to lock his strings because he's always dive bombing out of tune. Either that or he needs to take it easy on her.
